Privacy policy
The short version: I collect your email address if you give it to me, I use analytics to see which pages people read, and I do not sell your data to anyone.
Who runs this site
Inside Sales & Wellness is run by Jarrod Roberts. If you have a question about anything on this page, email jarrod@insidesalesandwellness.com and I will answer it personally.
What I collect, and why
- Your email address, if you sign up for the tracker or the weekly email. I use it to send you the file you asked for and one email a week. Nothing else.
- What you told me on a form. If you request an audit, I keep what you wrote — your name, work email, company, and what you want looked at — so I can reply and do the work.
- Anonymous usage data. Which pages get read, roughly where visitors are, and what brought them here. I use this to decide what to write next. It is not tied to your name.
- Standard server logs, kept by the host for security and troubleshooting.
I do not ask for a phone number, a postal address, or anything about your health. If a form ever asks for more than it needs, that is a mistake — tell me.
The services this site uses
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit) stores the email list and sends the emails. Your address lives there.
- Google Analytics and Search Console tell me which pages are read and which searches find them.
- Affiliate programs. Some links to equipment are affiliate links, and clicking one may set a cookie so the retailer knows the visit came from here. The affiliate disclosure page has the details.
- The web host, which stores the site and its logs.
Each of these has its own privacy policy, and each holds some of the data described above in order to do its job. I do not sell your data, rent it, or hand it to anyone else.
Cookies
The site sets cookies for analytics, and affiliate links may set one when clicked. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
How long I keep things
Your email address stays on the list until you unsubscribe. Audit enquiries are kept while there is a live conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards for my own records. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s settings.
What you can ask me to do
Any time, no reason needed
Unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any email — one click, and it is immediate. Or email me and ask to see what I hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted entirely. I will do it and confirm when it is done.
If you are in the EU or the UK, you have these rights in law rather than as a courtesy, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Minors
This site is for working adults in sales. It is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, I will say so in the weekly email rather than quietly editing the page.
